Tejas Safety Advantage
provides consultation and
services to assist trucking and motor coach carriers with compliance
regulations, specializing in Federal Motor Carrier Safety and Hazardous
Materials Regulations.
Each year, hundreds of Motor Carriers across the United
States receive a Safety Rating of “UNSATISFACTORY“.
As a motor carrier conducting business should you receive
an “unsatisfactory” rating from the
Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA),
you will remain in the “bulls-eye” until you
achieve a “conditional or satisfactory “ rating.
If you are a new entrant (motor carrier) beginning
business in 2003 in interstate commerce,
you must receive approval on your safety management
practices to remain in business.
The rating / approval you receive will have an impact on
retaining customers, your insurance cost,
AND don’t forget the FMCSA assessed penalty($$$).
Bottom Line…you cannot
leave your rating to chance. You must be pro-active and aggressive.
